Sitting to the north of the Massive des Maures and  half way between St Tropez  and Toulon, this region  is well worth a visit.

In 2013 twelve vineyards were granted their own  appellation, due to the  exceptional quality of the  wine.

Hot summers and low lying vineyards (under 400m)  with heavy limestone  deposits and deep red clay, reap constantly good rewards.
